The Annual General Meeting (AGM) will start off the year with the official commencement of the 32nd HKUYL. Advisors, alumni, and member school participants (hereafter known as ‘Campers’) will receive a brief of the aims and objectives for the coming year.

Volunteering & Workshops
Jan - Feb
In the next phase of the Camper Journey, the Community Outlook (CO), Campers will have the opportunity to serve society through volunteering activities, and broaden their horizons by interacting with people of varying backgrounds.
Youth Leadership Seminar - Nevodia
Feb - Apr
The Youth Leadership Seminar, as the pinnacle of the Camper Journey, focuses more on campers’ active discovery of their potentials and intrinsic values. During the Seminar, Campers are to reflect on their personalities and characteristics in a team environment via various group creative tasks, and to polish their leadership styles when getting along with other peers.

As the Camper Journey nears its conclusion, campers will transition into the role of organizers, utilizing the strengths and ingenuity they have acquired through previous projects. Their task will involve designing a self-initiated project aimed at benefiting individuals who are not members of HKUYL
Hugh O' Brian World Leadership Congress 2024

HKUYL has the privilege to send around ten Campers to participate in the World Leadership Congress (WLC) organised by the Hugh O’Brian Youth Foundation (HOBY) every year. Campers still had a fruitful experience as they interacted with ambassadors from around the world and had a pleasant time surrounded by the positive atmosphere of the HOBY family.
Social Awareness Project

The Social Awareness Project (SAP) marks the beginning of the Camper Journey. The Project aims to cultivate a sense of global responsibility in Campers by providing them with a platform to delve deep into both local and international issues, draft solutions and navigate the intricacies of international cooperation.
Community Outlook - Documentary Project

Within the Community Outlook, Campers are also assigned the Documentary Project, which allows Campers to gain a better understanding about the local issues and cultures of Hong Kong.

The Camp grants Campers a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to get along with their dearest peers, to embrace the fullest potential of oneself, and to create a memory of a lifetime. It is hoped that all Campers may go through a transformative journey in the Union's annual most highly-anticipated event.
Reunion Dinner - Reminiscia
Jul
The Reunion Dinner serves as a remarkable opportunity for Alumni, Committee Members, and Campers to gather together and stroll down memory lane of their time in the Union.

The Annual Dinner marks the end of the Camper Journey. This is a delicate occasion as Honorary Advisors, Alumni, Committee Members and Campers are gathered reminiscing the experiences they had in the Union, and to announce the official closing of the 32nd Camper Journey - "Reveal the Radiant Realm".
